I previously blogged about overnight oats and how wonderful they are. This post is about efficiency. I like to find ways to cut time in my life, this is especially important when it comes to food prep as we make many things from scratch in our household. I present you my Very Cinnamon Overnight Oats Mix. It was a hit with all 3 members of the family.
Ingredients & Instructions
3 cups Rolled Oats
1 cup Rye Flakes
2 tbsp. Cinnamon
1/4 cup Almond Meal
1/4 cup Flax Meal
- Combine all ingredients in airtight tupperware container, place lid on container and secure.
- Shake container until ingredients are well combined.
- In the evening combine 1/3 cup mix with 2/3 cup milk (i use almond milk) and let sit in a closed container in refrigerator overnight. Enjoy as you would any other oatmeal. (I like to give the container a shake once in a while to make sure the heavy bits don’t all migrate to bottom)
