Easy “Shake & Bake” Chicken

As a pole dancer one needs to make sure you consume enough protein. We are not body builders however the amount of time we spend lifting our complete body weight is remarkable and this ends  up building up our muscle mass significantly. Your diet needs to support this. One of my go to protein snacks is chicken breast; I cook them in large batches and store them in the fridge for up to 4 days.  They never come close to that between the 3 of us we inhale them so fast it’s ridiculous!

Ingredients:

  • 10 large boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 cup quinoa flour
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne powder

Directions:

  • Pre-heat oven to 375F
  • Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large ziplock bag. Seal bag and shake until well combined.
  • Open bag add 5 pieces of chicken. Seal and shake until chicken in coated.
  • Remove chicken from bag and place on a baking sheet.
  • Add remaining chicken to bag.
  • Seal and shake until chicken in coated.
  • Remove chicken from bag and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in oven until internal temperature reaches 170F.
  • Once cooked et cool and cut each chicken breast in half, store in airtight container in fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Makes 20 servings.
