Chocolate Fix – Chocolate Almond Balls

This one was a hit with all 3 family members.  I’m actually having a hard time keeping myself from devouring the full batch.  The C Monster keeps on asking “can I have a chocolate ball mama!”  I had to place a daily quota on how many he can eat.


  • 1/2 cup Almond Slices  
  • 1 cup Creamy Almond Butter 
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder 
  • 1/8 cup Raw Cocoa Nibs
  • 1/4 cup Honey 
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Coconut 
  • 3/4 cup Almond Meal
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Real Vanilla Extract  
  • 1/2 cup Hemp Hearts


  • Combine all ingredients except hemp hearts together in a large bowl.  
  • Mix thoroughly.  
  • Form small balls.
  • Roll each ball in hemp hearts.
  • Store between wax or parchment paper sheets in refrigerator. 

Makes Approximately 60 balls.
